Personality, and lack thereof...

Hello!

Haven't updated in a long time. Hope all is well. I just had my 4th personal training workout. I can feel myself getting stronger, I can sure keep up better. But I am far away from goal. I just have to keep reminding myself that I am doing a great thing for myself, and I really needed to do something for just me.

I am thinking about making the trek to Iowa soon. I really miss everyone SO MUCH! Ohio is great and all but I do miss the Iowa crowd. Bought some great shirts online the other day. Speaking of shirts...

I went to Cedar Point with the gay guy from work and his boyfriend on the "unofficial" Gay Pride Day. It was a blast! Rode every coaster, even the one that shoots you off at 120 mph and up 420 Ft in the air. What a rush! There were some great shirts and even better hair. They told me they were going to get me a "gay" shirt to bug my mom with. FYI: I am straight, but not narrow! One love people, one love.

Okay, more to come later...

Make It Hurt So Good...

Today is starting off sore, OUCH! I went and did the personal trainer thing last night and boy oh boy do they really work you good. Don't they know I'm not as good as I once was but hopefully soon I'll be as good as I'll ever be. They asked me when the last time I weight trained was, hello, that would have been high school, sniff sniff!

I have been signed up to run a marathon with my mom so I better get in shape or I am going to look like a complete fool. I wonder if there are any bars along the way I can stop for a cocktail? Who am I kidding, someone would rat me out. And they won't let me take my dog, that makes me mad.

Yesterday was awesome here, so I sat outside and got a little sun. I really think that the tanning bed is calling my name. I hate being this white, but I really do want to take care of my skin. What is a girl to do?

Anyway, gotta get crackin for work! Remember, I am the person your parents warned you about...

Cheeseburgers in Paradise aka The Trip

I know you are all dying to know how it went! Well, It was FAB! I, we, had so much fun. Its going to have to be a family tradition, and its turning into just that. Mom, G&G, and the cousins are planning to go to Chicago in August.

Even though I don't think the Windy City can top Pitt or Cincin, it will be fun to have everyone there. The weather was here, wish you were beautiful this past week. Met some awesome people from Chicago that we hope to meet up with again in August.

My food was great, and we even came home with beer! In my family that's rare! Okay, well the little bro went home with beer, but it was beer none the less. Scored cheap tickets (for scalping them) and a free case (opps, forgot to grab it out from under the cart).

The people behind us built a huge Pirate Ship, it was kick ass. After that its now time to go back to the daily grind. But on a good note I am seeing a personal trainer to get back into "All Stater" days.

Corona and some good tunes...

The brothers and I are headed to Cincin tom. for the Jimmy Buffett concert. Please pray that "we" stay out of jail" and have a blast. I have been prepping for awhile now.

Bought bottle/can jackets, decorated them with the 'rents. I made mine and let them make the brothers. Making a shirt that reads " We are the people our parents warned us about..." If you couldn't guess!

Drinking Corona tonight in prep for the concert/tailgate. Made mini cheeseburgers, corn on the cob, pasta salad and cut up my limes for the big day. I also went and got a spray tan so I wouldn't be so lilly white. Have the cutest outfit for Buffett, I am so excited.

I'll let you know how it goes...Remember I am the person your parents warned you about...
